One of my fav all-time characters is Ryder Latimer from The Calling is Reborn series. He’s just so sexy! He’s protective of FBI Agent Diana Reyes, but relishes her strength and independence. He also understands her dark tortured side because he’s been the same since the day he was turned. Becoming an immortal wasn’t part of his game plan and the vampire who turned him, Samantha Turner, did it because he had helped her and thought Ryder should not die so young. When they meet up again in Temptation Calls, it’s not pretty, but in time the two learn to work together.
I had to search around a lot for how I would picture Ryder, but I think this photo captures his dark intensity.
